Highly collectable, these beautiful artworks are manufactured by the monastic family of Bethlehem, part of the Carthusian monks of San Bruno. The studio lies in the monastery of Caux, France. In the monastery, there is a male and the female section: the men create sculptures in wood, while the nuns of the Pyrenees prepare stone reproductions and paint every artefact. The style is characterised by great simplicity – quite typical of their order.
